Yeah, there was a LOT in this episode and I would have liked to have seen more of God!Cas but...it was all so EXCITING. I can't remember the last time I felt that breathless at the end of a spn episode, I thought it was really tightly written and relentless with the emotional roller coaster. I can't wait to see what comes next! :DDDDD
And, yeah, the sassy in this was OFF THE CHAIN. I loved Sam's little speech-prayer, I want a lot of fic about his faith issues and how what he believes and his concept of god has changed since all the way back in 'Houses of the Holy' when he admitted to praying regularly. Oh, Sam. :DDDD
I agree with pretty much everything you said. They did such awesome things in this episode, and yeah, I really wish it had been drawn out a little bit more. For some reason Supernatural always seems to do that; either they draw things out too much or they try to cram tons of stuff into one episode. Still, I thought it worked well despite that.
I really wanted more of GodCastiel because he was so damn creepy. I would have loved to see a slow descent into madness as he keeps trying to do what he thinks is right. Actually, that would make a pretty kickass fic, come to think of it.
Heh, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the extreme Sassy in the episode. So awesome. :D
