Women, Praying, and "That" Time

There seems to be a misunderstanding when it comes to women and praying in Islam. Specifically women praying during that specific time of the month. I am sure there are different answers people have come up with, and this is my understanding of the matter ( Read more... )

:D I think this would do great on the community, as well! It really helped me. That used to bother me a lot, but this makes sense.

Do you know if you are in an impure state if you have a wound that won't stop bleeding? If it bleeds through an entire prayer time, for example, can you make the prayer up without a sin?

:) I'm glad it helped! I knew that confusion was out there on a day to day basis.

As for your question, I really don't know the answer. I would recommend you ask an imam or someone knowledgeable regarding that. I have not come across an answer for something like this. I mean, a wound would eventually stop bleeding but the question is whether if it would stop before the time for the prayer is over. And that's a fiqh question. Is there an imam you can contact via email or something? Perhaps he can guide you?
