I love watching both conventions too. I got cable mostly just because it's an election year! I've been in class and have missed some of the speeches, but I'm going to catch up over the weekend via YouTube. I guess this is what it's like to be into sports?

Joe Lieberman has switched to "Independant" now and is officially no longer a Democrat. I just heard that yesterday and was pretty disappointed to see he's on the McCain side now. Growing up in Connecticut, he's always been a familiar name to me.
