Like a truly staggering number of people this weekend, I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I wasn't entirely sure I wanted to do it this weekend. I mean, it was going to be packed. Right there with you on the Dobby thing. I'd totally forgotten that, until Leon told me the aftermath of that. And yeah, he was annoying, but he was important to the story and it was more devastating than Hedwig and Moody, because it was much more visible. Sure, Hedwig's was on-screen, but it was very quick and glancing.

I'm going to be a soggy *mess* during the final battle scene. It's going to be terrible.

It also didn't help that Dobby had such a fantastic final scene facing down Bellatrix. I was on such a high after that. "Dobby did not mean to kill." Then his final speech while he lay in Harry's arms was just heart-wrenching.

I absolutely cannot wait to see Molly face down Bellatrix. Ever since I first read that scene, I've been wanting to see it on the big screen.
