Do NOT fret Becky. My perfect/angel man will help Dean and save Sammy. Castiel would NEVER make dean go through the anguish of having to kill Sammy. Clearly Chuck is being fed bad intel from the other side. Castiel will help them then he will ask his father to let him become human so that he and I can be together. It will be just like City of Angels, except Cas is waaaaaaaay hotter than Nic Cage. Our kids can play together I'm sure Adam and Eve would get along with Chevy and Astrid. Just have faith Cas would never fail me, umm I mean Dean.
