You've been helping keep my friends page beautiful for awhile, and now that I'm off to Europe for 6 months or so, I was wondering if you have any suggestions for a good (digital) camera to invest in? Nothing that will break the bank, but something that will take great pictures for the millions of scrapbooks I intend to fill. My research just points me to people trying to rip me off, and I don't have much experience to go off of- any quick tips would be much appreciated.
I really love this picture by the way..

hey! thanks for the comment =)

I would highly recommend getting the Canon 400d(its called the Rebel in the USA)

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=14256

its a 10 megapixel camera, its light, and small (well compared to my other cameras), and it takes great pictures! and its cheap! The above photograph was taken with the model previous to the 400d / rebel. You dont need to spend big bucks on a camera to get good photos... its all to do with lens and obviously the person behind it! Best of luck with your travels - you will have heaps of fun!!!!!!

If you want any other advice on cameras Id be more than happy to help =)
