I hadn't done any of the things I had. I hate most people right now and everyone bores me.

Has its ups and has its downs. It takes a long time to realize this and many people never figure it out. You have to remember the point is to live and to get over the fact everything won't work out how you want it. The best chance you have at getting what you want is to go after it. Find out how to make yourself happy and the rest might follow.
