The Moon

Oct 09, 2009 03:10

If I hear one more person cry about how "blowing up the moon" will alter its orbit, cause giant moon rocks to smash into earth, will make the moon collapse (because it's hollow donchya know?), provoke a counter attack by moon dwelling aliens..etc my head will explode ( Read more... )

If we had all the Chinese jump up and down at noon, and all the Americans jump up and down at midnight, maybe we can push Earth away from the Sun.

There, I just solved global warming and the obesity problem at the same time.

I'm pretty sure there is water on the moon, especially around the poles.

Now I doubt it will be an adequate substitute for the water we use on Earth, but I'm certainly interested in the water content on the moon as well as on other planets and I don't understand why that angers you so much.

Clearly you have misread my post.

My interest in the water content of the moon(as in how much not is there any) is its possible use for some kind of base on the moon.

What angers me about suggesting we want to bring the water back from the moon...well actually if I have to explain one more time why that's a stupid premise I'm going to lose my shit.
