OK i'm so fricken tired of people who say that they are your best friend and that they hope you never leave them, then go and blow you and the others off to go and hang out with thier boyfriend. Now i love her to death but why is it that she cannot do anything with us on school nights and weekends, and anytime that we want to hang out, but

This always happens in relationships...they are worried about it at first, so they "forget" their friends. Usually they bounce back though.

Sometimes it takes more time than usual. Maybe a little reminder is in order...AND I MEAN LITTLE!

I know how you feel--it totally sucks to feel forgotten. But you have to remember that it's ok for her to have other friends so long as she splits the time equally. Which, if she is not doing, you should definately say something because I know what happens when you just let it lie. And it's not good. So politely bring it up that you miss her and love her very much and don't want her to forget about you. If you come across like you are distressed rather than angry then she won't feel the need to get defensive.

Sammi, it's totally acceptable for you to be upset about this. I would take the advice given above, speak from your heart. Yes, you're angry, but you're also hurt that this is happening...make sure she understands that part.

And I want you to know that as a fellow "hard-worker" I appreciate everything that you do. You're a great person, and you deserve a huge congratualtions for getting into Bryant and doing all that you do. Stay strong! <3
