I think everything you're doing sounds awesome. I would jump at the chance to go to South Africa. School ends so soon...isn't it crazy?

My congratulations on your presumed Graduation, and my best wishes for the trip to SA.

Tips (from someone who has never been there):
1) do NOT try to hike up Table mountain without appropriate clothing;

2) watch out for Sharks - the fishy kind AND the human kind (which is the more-dangerous variety);

3) the South Africans are better Shots than you Americans, and better swimmers too. They also claim to do a better 'q' - which they call a 'Briss';

4) while you're there, go and watch some Cricket - it'll be an 'interesting' experience for you ;-)
