if you're thinking about medical transcription, why not also look into medical billing. i think you'd do a killer job with billing. getting in with the UM or even wayne state doing that shit. i also had fun with the co-workers when i was doing insurance auditing in the billing office at UM. they were great. plus a ton of them smoked...so there were no bad comments being made, etc.
