Two Lovely Ladies

A couple months ago, I flew to Japan with a stranger...

Technically, Jen wasn't a "stranger," we did speak over the internet for a couple months prior to our initial meeting. I know, I know. Internet 101: Never meet up with strangers from the internet. That especially includes a three week trip to a foreign country...

At first, I kept thinking:

"What if she turned out to be a he?"
"What if she turns out to be a psycho killer!?"
"What if she turns out to be boring and annoying!?"

I mean, I'd have to sleep next to this person for three whole weeks in a small apartment.

But when I finally met her on our flight to Japan, all my worries were gone. We immediately hit it off just like we did on the internet
...we talked and joked around for almost 11 hours straight. She was amazing! Back home, I never had anyone to talk to about jrock because none of my friends listened to it. I've always refrained from meeting Gazette fans (or jrock fans in general) outside the internet for the obvious reasons. But I'm so glad I met her.

I left to Japan expecting to only be okay friends with her. But over the span of three weeks, she really started to grow on me. Sometimes, I'd think to myself, "What am I going to do without her when I get back to New York?" with her living on the other side of the country. I left with stranger and came home with a best friend <3

The other person I met in Japan who really left a mark on me was Toki. I love her cute Swiss accent! The three of us spent most of our vacation with each other and let me tell you, if it wasn't for her and her super organized planner book, Jen and I would have been lost XD I think that Toki is such a wonderful person and we always have fun with her around.

The memories of us shopping, going out to eat, and cooking curry together are just priceless. I feel like with Jen and Toki, I can act stupid and reckless without being judged by them. I rarely get attached to people this easily but they are so dear to my heart.

Had I spent my vacation with any other two people, I don't think I'd have as much fun as I did. Those three weeks were the best times I've ever had in my entire life. I can't wait to see both of you again.

I love you two lovely ladies so much!
