The CT scan results were not as conclusive as I would've liked them to be. The chemo treatment he was on made things marginally better in his lung, no different in his bones, but then liver got worse. Today, after a night of unnecessarily heavy drinking, I took myself for a drive on 63 through Leverett because it never ceases to calm me. I wasn't necessarily on edge, but it was bright and sunny out, and I thought there'd be no harm in awarding myself a Sunday drive. I was going to post something sad and underdeveloped, but instead I think I will just mention that I had a truly random dream last night, where I was baking dinner rolls with none other than Barack Obama. His rolls kept burning on the bottom so I suggested adding either sour cream or dry pudding mix to his recipe to result in a moister roll. He ( Read more... )

Soooo I got a job!

Granted it's a project, not a whole "permanent" gig, but until June 30th it's 40 hours a week, which is parfait, since it will also allow me to set design for Wachusett Theatre Company again in July (which means another summer with ANYE, I HOPE HE'S STILL FABULOUS!!!).
