so i left portland about 2 weeks ago. i'm sad and not really sure how i feel right now about leaving the pacific northwest, i felt so comfortable with who i am there and everything just felt really alright. i went to arcata for three days and immediately made some of the best friendships i've made in a while, saw beautiful trees, land, and oceans

i sent some stuffs to you today in the mail. i hope it makes you happy. it is important and wonderful to realize that all those great people you know are still there...even if you can't hang out at the moment they are still there being cool and it is so grand to know them. i miss a lot of people lots but i'm so happy i have them to miss. ya dig? and sam, you are totally the kinda person that will figure it out. one can't help but love you.
