It's been a while, a lot has been
happening in my life.
First off, I have been seeing a wonderful lady who makes me smile. When she walks into the room, she takes my breath away. I'm happy to say, she and I really care about each other more and more every day.
Chris is doing well, he's in Houston currently. Spending time with Robin's parents. And having such a great time. Joey and I miss him. But he'll be home soon, just in time to head back to college about a week later.
Joey has been doing excellent. Except right now he's fighting a cold or something. Just recently he brought home his PSAT scores. What an amazing young man. He scored above a 91% overall and his Critical Reading score was a 98%. I am very proud of him. I have no worries where this young man is heading. We're still waiting on the paperwork to arrive for him to sign up for the temp position at NASA.
Now back to me... I've been steadily working on improving my photography and marketing myself. For work, I enjoy photography and all that goes with it. I also have been working on E3D more, getting ready to head to DC to sit down and discuss all the details with several prominent political entities. Am I scared, I would have to say... YES!!! Terrified, speaking to such entities always makes me nervous. But I'll be walking in there with confidence and with courage.
Yesterday I woke up suddenly, stood up to go answer the door, took one step with my left leg and... collapsed to the floor, crumbling on top of my left leg. I was immediately in severe pain. That has been over 12 hours ago, I went to the ER, at least my leg is not broken. But I did tear the muscle in the back of my calf. I am still in severe pain. Every four hours the pain meds wear off and I wake up in excruciating pain. Can't wait for this to heal, and soon!!!
As always, I'm seeking prayers and good thoughts, while we deal with current issues as well as still going through the grieving process of losing Robin.
HUGS for all my friends here on LJ, just in case you don't follow me on Facebook. Love you, my dear friends, all of you.
