I love Texas myself. Lived here all my life, and can't imagine living anywhere else with the exception of New Orleans. Every time I'm there, as soon as my feet hit the pavement, I feel like the spirits wash over me and I'm home!

Houston doesn't feel as much like home to me as New Orleans does, but Houston is home in the sense that it's in Texas. I just love the amount of things to do in Houston and the surrounding areas, and I adore Kemah and Galveston. Texas City is great with NASA being there and all. So, yeah, it rates a bit higher on my cities list than NO for all the diversity. Most of my top ten are Texas cities (percentage wise in comparison to cities from other states. LOL)

I was actually born in the Panhandle in Amarillo. I love the city, but I hate the wind, the cold, the fact that it's an hour to a lake, the lack of trees and the flat. North Texas has been home to me since I was ten with the exception of college, when I returned to Amarillo to attend West Texas A&M University. I moved back to North Texas in 98 and haven't budged much since. I just moved from Lewisville to Graham in 99, but that's still North Texas.

If you ever get to my part of Texas, look me up! We'll get all science geeky and George nerdy! LOL
