Thanks to the webcomic "Subnormality," I just had the horrifying realization of my own age progession and mortality through the knowledge that the song "Ice Ice Baby" came out 18-fricken years ago!

What show is your icon from? I've seen that actor in a lot of stuff, but I was curious if you pulled it from anything in particular.

It's from that TV show "The Dresden Files." It was on the Sci-Fi Channel last year, but it was cancelled after one season. A shame, because it was a really good show.

I've only read the first book, and I really liked what I read. If I wasn't so backlogged with other books that I want to read, I would go through the whole series.

I was five years old at the time.
My current girlfriend was only a year old.
"Raiders of the Lost Ark" had just been released.
Reagan was president.
Johnny Carson was still hosting "The Tonight Show"...

By the way, did you ever see that interview with Vanilla Ice about how the two songs are completely different?
