I just realized how obnoxious it is when people don't put there age, name, or sex in their bio or mention it in their journal so I just made a bio ( Read more... )

Some people like their privacy, others have people they know who also have an LJ but don't to expose their real identities to them ... You can always get to know all these things about people simply by reading some of their entries. My bio doesn't include my personal stuff but strewn throughout my journal are references to everything. But here's a small summary just for you and just because it's important to you:

Name: Suzy
Age: 30
Location: Australia
Sex: Female (:P I know that one was a hard one to figure out lol)

:) I hope that helps.

No I definately understand about privacy, but knowing that you live in australia, and are 30 not 25 or 35 gives me some insight into you, but more importantly it lets me build a place for you inside my head. A make believe image that i can associate you with.

Ok about the other LJers that I can understand, but the privacy thing seems strange to me, it's not like any of these people can directly affect your life if you don't want them to.
Why bother to hide?

PS thank you for the mini bio

Y'know what so do I... what a strange coincidence... I am so touched by the way you've opened up to me, it's amazing how close and loving is here on LiveJournal. You really made my day. Please continue to fill my life with such beautiful koans as this forever. But do not let me keep this love all to myself, spread your love of pastuerized dairy to all the boys and girls of the whole wide world, and never rest until you do.

I'm sorry. Your friend (and mine) Inushnu alerted me to the psychotic and hilarious and totally random replies to your post from the two ladies with poor typing skills, and it cracked me up. I thought I'd throw my own irrelevant two cents in to mess with your mind. Because that's me, that's what I do. I enjoy the mind-messing (almost as much as the dairy products). Feel free to retaliate in my journal. AND DON'T LET FARAH BREAK YOUR HEART LIKE SHE DOES EVERYONE ELSE'S. :)

Oh Farah Farah my love how shall I survive without your... um well i'll just assume you have a large variety of possibly beautious and supple body parts for me too lust after... and your um...mind, yes your mind! I am in awe my days our lit by some words you must have said, and the humor you certainly created spontaneously just for me before posting into live journal two days after I commented. I will love you forever farah

hm you know, i was thinking. i think its nicer to be de-aged and de-sexed. it is the total bias thing. besides, if youre interesting youll get replies or atleast readership regardless.

See I just don't get that... I figure that I yam who I yam, y'know? And hey no one who judges your journal based on your age or sex is really going to be particularly open in any other way are they? I figure its a pretty good sign that someone who decides they don't like you based on bio is basically fucked in the head as it is sooooo I won't miss a few extra comments.

Also, I have a distaste for forty year old males who pretend to be 16 year old cheerleading girls? DOn't you?

well, there are more than one aspect to a person. and though you do have a point... if you got to know someone one way on their journal and then discovered other things about them later, that modifies your view. if you start with a stereotypical view, that could potentially come with alot of modification.

=p~
