For a brief moment I was boggled by your use of the word 'skip'.

Here in Canada the term can be used for the captain of a curling team.

Ah. sorry. I had no idea the term was so local in currency. Promise not to fill a curling team captain with builders' rubble any time soon.

It all looked very impressive even half way through.

I hardly knew the place! Though it wasn't so much a case of being in danger of cycling past the place by mistake, as having to fight the temptation to trundle right up to the window across the yard.

My parents did not resist the temptation and parked across the lawn/earth patch when they came yesterday. Grrrr!

If it has ambitions of becoming a lawn, I'd better get into the habit of Keeping Off entirely (as opposed to merely not buzzing Pete sitting in the bay end of the libing room).

Well eventually if you try that you may hit a tree but you are safe for a while yet.

I always feel so very virtuous after a trip to the landfill with a pile of trash and recyclables. I should do it more often.

Mmmm, baths

REcycling is very therapeutic. As I unpack boxes from the move I am getting to crush the less useful ones for recycling and it really adds a pleasant full stop / period to the unpacking stage.
