but really, SNL/NBC owes the revived interest mostly due to blogs and sites like youtube putting up that Narnia rap in the first place. Yeah, the videos belong to NBC but they can't take the credit for the SNL shorts becoming as popular as they did.
I know, but now when blogs link to the videos, they can link to the actual NBC site instead of YouTube. I didn't mean to imply that NBC revived the interest, just that they are embracing the medium that has led to the revived interest (freely available online videos) rather than trying to make everyone pay.
Totally agreed. Thank God, I was gonna kill someone if I couldn't get Natalie Portman screaming "WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP AND SUCK MY DICK?!" to me at least twice a day.
