Many many events in a short space of time!
Well hello LJ, it's been a few weeks which have been full of madness and drama I haven't had a chance to blog away! So whats been happening? *deep breath* here we go:
Dublin on the 8th August to the 12th with Lucy, Bethhead and Bethbeth. Never laughed so much in 5 days over Beth's random song in head choices, soft toys who had names of the male specimen, Sherlock, slash, drunkeness (well me) and many more! We kept ourselves busy but was rather relaxed by taking our time. Went to the zoo (gotta love the animals), a great deal of shopping, saw Trinity College, ate good food, went to the seaside town of Bray and went to the Sealife Centre and went on amazing Viking Duck Tour of the city! :D
Our hostel and room was rather nice with a fairly large ensuite and two bed bunks; me being on top bunk kept wacking my knees on the bars which left rather large bruises, but ah well! The first night had the joyous sound of an alarm going off constantly from about 3am and another night a small child running up and down the corridor screaming at the top of his lungs at around 5am! Wasn't very pleasant.
The day after we returned it was my birthday yaaay! I turned 18 finally and had a nice day :) Went to Richmond for a spot of shopping with my mum then over to a friends for a quick catch up. Got some lovely gifts: my laptop which I bought earlier in the year, a new tv from my Uncle, Chamilia charm bracelet from my Mum, Nanny and Great Aunt, money, iPod speakers from Tom, iPod touch with Father's money. In the evening went to Slug and Lettuce for a meal and a few drinks, then at 10 when cocktails finished moved onto the George briefly which was all busy and not very pleasant so moved on again to the Town Hall. Felt abit bad as Bethbeth clearly hated it! But it was rather amusing dancing to the likes of Bad Romance, Cha Cha Slide, 5 6 7 and 8 and seeing Howie and Martin's rather amusing (in a bad way) dancing :P
Results day! Was rather scared for Drama but got my DD in travel and a B in it!!! So my AAB bursary should be mine :D :D Thankfully the A's from last year and my practical helped the grade stay at a B as I got a D in the exam :/ Thought I did terrible in the Blood Wedding essay, I clearly did! I got my first U!!! In good ol' Business: 39/120 yeahhh! Watching Glee, lounging in my garden and playing on my ipod for half the year clearly helped. Ah well it didnt account for anything. Got a D overall as I got a high A last year so it's not too bad...
Student Finance are completely useless! Okay it probably was an error I made but they could have stated before: I didn't apply for the Maintenance Grant :( So I am abit stumped for money seeing I only have the loan to get me through till about xmas...oh fuck. But hopefully my Uncle can help me out with some money. My Dad found out this because my useless brother and is saying oh I'll pay which I obvs don't want to happen. Grrrr.
Had to go and see Father for my bday, could have been much worse but god Michele rub your stinking nose in it. As when Dad went outside she had a rant at me how I need to grow up and mature now I'm 18 and go and see him. I just sat there not bothering to argue as that would cause more shit.
I am now on contract! £25 a month for 300 mins and unlimited texts and internet for a Blackberry Bold. I am rather addicted to it with its internet and BBM :D Not good at 2am when wanting to sleep. Angry Birds on my ipod also doesn't help!
I have also become rather addicted to Big Brother, shame it's finishing tomorrow and I'm missing it! It is rather lolzy and awww Mario and Andrew are quite slashy together :3 Commentary with David about it on BBM (noticing a theme?) is rather amusing, I say no more on that matter....
My Surrey accommodation has been confirmed woooo cannot wait! Just over a month to go *dances*
I have a job!! At Laura Ashley in Staines, so far its been pretty dull as the shop is dead but quite amusing. The lady Geniene who I work mostly with is so funny and the assistant manager Ivan is so lovely and calm! Even when I'm going Ivannnn I'm stuck again! Pretty pleased with myself how much I have picked up, think my Mum and my manager are rather impressed also :D
