University :D :D
So here I am, sitting in my already untidy bedroom at Surrey Uni! Still haven't fully got to grips with the fact that I am here for 4 years (one year placement) to learn stuff :D
I arrived here on Saturday afternoon with all my stuff and Tom surprisingly, got my keys then made my way to my room which is not bad at all! Near the kitchen which is abit of pain with all the noise but that's something I'll just get used to. Chatted with some of my flat mates who I spoke to on facebook previously and they were just as nice as first thought! Then about 6ish we all sat in the kitchen, the guys had started drinking way before then, and chatted to get to know each other. My 13 flatmates are:
Jamie, nice guy who sure does like to drink!
Luke, my neighbour whose from London so he's your typical urban guy who smokes and likes drum and bass
Angela, my other neighbour, didn't see much of her to begin with but she's nice and lost her voice on Sat night which is still yet to return
Richard, very quiet, just me and him having lunch in the kitchen yesterday was very awkward
Tim, lovely guy who is very clean (his room is tidier than mine) and created a great drinking game based around Monopoly that I am never going to play as I will die.
Alex, same as Angela, didn't see much of her to begin with but she's really friendly whenever she's around in the kitchen
Max, great cook, always cooking something that smells so nice and gets taking the mickey out of on many occasions as he's quite short and ginger.
Mor, an all round nice person who I have been sharing the vodka and lemonade with!
Hayley, she was last to arrive on Sunday, really friendly and has great banter with the guys *cough* sexual tension *cough*
Ben, great guy but is rather melodramatic and clumsy when it comes to getting food down himself. He's from Bristol and slowly but surely we're all picking up his accent.
Jack, lovely guy who is either very posh or very camp, we can't decide which one it is. His Mum packed his bag so he has every utensil going
Jordan, he likes to drink alot! But can handle it very well which is good.
Abby, she's not with us often and when she is she's pretty quiet but she's nice!
Had some lolz times already: first day Richard got hammered and passed out in his room so we had to call security to check he was still alive.
Dick and Dom, was only Dom but it was pretty funny writing on people's tshirts when already rather drunk. I say writing..more lines, smiley faces, or the guys were just drawing cocks on each others faces (pretty funny next day when the pen is impossible to get off)
A piece of paper on the noticeboard called the 'wall of shame' where if someone does something really stupid they get put on it
A group of people from another court doing a conga line around the flat at 4am
Someone stole Abbys cheese and put it all over the toilet, opposite me!! Didn't smell too good
Trying not to fall asleep to this shit dj last night when we took a break and sat on the sofas
Ben getting his head cut by a bottle (it was a very small cut) as a result of saving Angela and me from the mosh pit
Creating a feud with the floor below as they broke our doorbell so Luke suggested we throw ham at them which resulted in Jack getting it thrown back at him when trying to create peace.
Wanting to start the floor 3 band as nearly everyone plays an instrument then practising and playing at an open mic session. I play the triangle.
So been sat in the kitchen most of the time apart from to go to some pretty boring talks about our university life/course.
My spider plan will indeed fail as Jack had a lecture where they said do not sleep with your flatmates as it will be awkward. Damn! And all the guys are taken. More damn *cough* especially as Tim and Ben are rather nice *cough*
