The body and the soul are the same thing, though. It is a mistake to seperate the two. The soul may be the part of the body that lives on after the rest dies, but it can't be seperated from the whole before then.
The body and soul are irrevocably combined, I agree. It's a great deal easier to speak about the soul as a singular subject, though, so I will continue to do so in full light of it's inseparable nature from the body. You can break an idea of truth into pieces in order to view each as separate ideas of truth and more effectively determine to yourself whether or not you believe those ideas of truth to be actual representations of truth. In most cases, no idea that you or I will ever have will be actual representations of truth, so it's mostly up to us to determine whether or not we're kinda sorta on the right track, and if not, then we should change our ideas.
If you what? What is that, besides a head trip, maybe even self induced? Even assuming that it is not, It would be a stretching of yourself. Remember the "silver cord"? It would be like those rubber-stretch-sticky-hands that you could get for a quarter from the machines.
