I've discovered that I very much enjoy Jameson irish whiskey.
It tastes like oak. I s'pose that's what whiskey is supposed to taste like. Not like that nasty canadian junk that tastes like rotten corn. yech.

 So I've started writing a story. It really hurts how much it sucks so far, but I'll finish it. I'll finish it even if it turns out to be a piece of stinky doodoo. Maybe I can at least use it as fertilizer for the next few.

Funny how so many people try to deepen that they're attracted to a pretty face and a pretty brain. Or one or the other, if they can't get both together.

Underway life is starting to make me want to shoot myself in the face. I s'pose I handle it pretty well, though, considering that this only started around 2 weeks before the end of the patrol. I've been hanging on to this little box of frosted flakes all throughout my day, from 5:30am when I started dishwashing until now, after I just got finished. And I opened it up, expecting crunchy tasty wonderfulness. The little bitches are stale. I think Kellogs needs to fuckin' vacuum pack their shit.

It's never been so evident that I'm in the military than now after walking the streets of Guantanamo Bay. We (myself and a few others from the boat) hung out with some navy folks last night.
