Dude, you've got a serious case of cable deprivation up there in the Rockies. VH1 now has I Love the 70s and, coming in October, I Love the 80s: Strikes Back. Why won't the History Channel get off its high horse and invite Mo Rocca as their newest guest commentator? Court TV already has.

Mendelevium, the ninth transuranium element of the actinide series discovered, was first identified by Ghiorso, Harvey, Choppin, Thompson, and Seaborg in early in 1955 during the bombardment of the isotope 253Es with helium ions in the Berkeley 60-inch cyclotron. The isotope produced was 256Md, which has a half-life of 76 min. This first identification was notable in that 256Md was synthesized on a one-atom-at-a-time basis.

It's funny that you should say that. I had written "incendiary" in my mood box. For some reason, LJ has rejected my state of mind.

man, you REALLY need to take Mass Comm 101. You'd get a lot out of that class. For example, I learned in there that most radio stations have playlists of no more than 40 songs (40!!!!) That's it! Which is why radio SUCKS today!

Good to have ya back on the LJ circuit.

No way, Bec! I don't know that I'll ever be able to take any non-core classes again. Sad, but true.
