I have to admitt I'm guilty of paring down friends lists. Mostly because the people who I defriended permanently were getting on my damned nerves. I am even guilty of defriending my own sister. Without telling her.

I've just been informed that these newfangled "friend filters" already exist and that you were most likely suggesting their use, not their invention. And though it cannot now go into an LJ Comment Box, yet do I remain steadfast in my support of your idear.
