Sheffield will never stop bothering her, I'm pretty sure. I had Sheffield as both her boggart and her time flower flashback and he's still... really important to her in a lot of ways! To her he's the representation of everything that's wrong with humanity - this HORRIBLE PERSON who just. Had no regard for anything outside himself and his own power. The problem is that she still can't really make herself hate him. Sera sees a lot of people who do horrible things and don't hate them for it (Angel is a good example of this), but she doesn't hate them because she can usually at least dimly understand where they're coming from. Sheffield she doesn't understand. She's scared of understanding him, because not only would that mean she empathized with a genuine sociopath but that it would be to fully accept on a visceral level that one of the most important people in her life only thought of her as a pawn. She knows that it's true, but she doesn't want to understand it

Can I ask for her feelings on O'Brian as crossed over with Heat? Because now I'm kinda curious. And generally how her feelings on their past lives crosses over onto their AI selves.
SERA LIKES CHUCK and is a lot more likely to tell her about the whole cannibal demon thing than Ned because she's not so twitchy. She's so nice and sympathetic and she gets onto such long tangents! Her fond concern is really nice for Sera because she doesn't have that many formative female figures in her life besides. Angel. Sera loev her.
For what it's worth, Chuck really likes Sera too because she's very sweet and friendly and she gets along with Ned so well, d'awwww~ ♥ And if Sera ever did decide to tell Ned and Chuck about the cannibal demon thing, I think Chuck would get past the shock and surprise fairly quickly as soon as she establishes that they're not aggressive CHUD (Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller) types, and she'd be (metaphorically) poking at Ned to be just as accepting!

She sees him as someone who's run into the same things as her and chosen differently, and while she doesn't really pity him for making that choice - she understands it, and being responsible for your own choices is such a prominent theme for DDS - she doesn't really feel like he gave the other side a fair shot. So she'll talk to him when he lets her, and make sure he's doing sort of okay, because she feels responsible for him a little too. She put him in the Junkyard, after all.
