Hm, okay...how about saddles(close contact and dressage), and bits? I figure all your guys sound so different you would have plenty of experience with lots of different bits.

I mainly just use really simple bits-loose/D ring french links, copper rollers, and dr. bristol's for the strong ones. I have a slow twist pelham too, haven't used it on this guy yet but I'm thinking double reins would either 1)give me the ability to correct his hanging by using the curb chain and leaving the snaffle rein along, or 2)cause him to be over sensitive to the poll pressure and curl up MORE if corrected. I suppose I could try it, but I don't think he needs the slow twist...

hmmm, if I had the money, I'd buy a million bits-they're so interesting and every horse has certain quirks about which bits they like.

Course, maybe I should ask pheonix_ignition since she KNOWS and USES more bits...eep, this isn't F-locked. oops. oh well, doubt she'll come around here.
