more storms ?

Heard anything about this lovely string of storms including tornados that killed ppl in TN?? Yeah well, those are headed our way today. Supposedly they will be losing strength by the time they get here so shouldn't be *too* bad but still... ick. Central NC should get it worse than us for once

I sure have heard about them! My parents, my brother and his wife and three daughters all live in that county. My mother drives a van for handicapped people and was scheduled to be driving right in the worst part of the storm that night, but someone else took over and she still doesn't know how they are, since the company's power is still out. They sent me videos from the news and I can't believe these places that I know so well being totally flattened, and wonder about the places they don't show - like the horse farm where I spent my adolescence that is only a half mile north of the area shown in the video.

It's hard at a time like this. I both want to be home and am glad I'm not!

Oh goodness-I'm glad your family is OK, and I hope the farm is too!!

Storms with tornadoes are SO scary-well, actually, I think ALL storms are scary so... yeah.
