My online life is becoming increasingly complex ... one identiy for topical BiH stuff, one for everything else ... bih_friend is virtually always publically posted, and "welten" will be mostly private ... with the exception of things that are not personal.

Are your plans right now to stay in Germany?

Yes, for now, I'm going to try to stay here. I'm having a terrible time finding a job, though - Germany as a whole isn't the world's best job market, but Berlin is particularly bad, especially for non-EU citizens. But I'm going to do my best to find a way to stick around - legally, of course! :D

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Berlin is a fascinating city. I consider myself fortunate to have a Niederlassungserlaubnis. I've been here for eight years and as of the end of last month, married for four of them.

Yep, sure am! I'll be done at the end of next week, though...then I don't know what I'll do. Still looking for jobs. :( Did you finish your Kosovo stuff?

i did indeed! I enjoyed the thesis a lot, it just made me sad because there doesn't seem to be a solution that will make everyone happy, you know? even the news that's going on in recent weeks is just repetative of what's already happend. They want to reach a decesion by XXX date, but then even if they do, one side won't agree...

le argh.

still, it's facinating :)

Yeah, it's really frustrating to see. :p Frustrating and fascinating. I think most Americans probably ask themselves why these people can't just get over it and go have a drink. I ask myself that a lot! :D But things are just so much more complicated over there....I still want to go see it for myself.

Anyway, I'm glad you finished writing! I enjoyed mine a lot too, even if it was massively stressful. :D

I will, don't worry! :D I'm not removing anyone who's on my list right now. I just wanted to make that post to explain why my journal now looks like it's made up of nothing but surveys and online quizzes. ;) I decided it was time to retroactively friends-lock all my old entries (mainly because most of them are just extremely silly).
