So I'm doing the Common App right now and I come across this

i filled out a similar survey, not the common app though, that asked the same question.

i told them that i wished to be an american eskimo.

I checked "other" and wrote in "human" for race. My mother thinks that's the reason I didn't get into Penn, Brown or Cornell. I think it's more because I failed math. Plus, I think it actually helped me get into Wesleyan and Reed.
