Got cave taken care of. Took a bit to type her blood without anything closely resembling actual tools, so I slept for about four hours, and crept out, down the street, and to the hospital for some units of blood and some needed gear. Also got myself an emergency doctor's kit in case of the arrival of anymore homicidal flame-throwing demon people

I know it's dangerous, Kate...but I can handle myself. Those, uhm, self defense classes...they really pay off, you know? So does the Red Cross Emergency Services course.

But next time I have to go fetch something...I wouldn't say no if you offered to come along.
