WOW! Fantastic! Are you going to graduation? I vowed not to but then my best friend (Alexis Porter -- do you know her?) was valedictorian and so I had to go. It was actually great -- Louise Arbour got an honorary degree and she and Alexis rocked their speeches.

Also, seeing that Concordia transcript font still makes me shudder 3 years later.

So what comes next? Welcome to the rest of your life, I guess, unless you're headed to grad school next year.

re: future- i'm not so sure. 4 now i'll keep my minimally paying but unionized studentadvocacyjob at the ConStudUnion (typos are anti-google), and got a landscaping business going with a friend. So I'll be seeing that CONU transcript writing for awhile to come now... Shudder is right!

and yes, i am going to convocation! my grandparents are coming, and supposedly my dad'll hand me the degree or shake my hand, or something. holy holy.

My mom and her family will be a total no-show, but still, this'll be my biggest family event.. um ever? since graduating from SSA?!! (oy memories)

hmm, she did a minor in women's history, and she mentioned it. lillian routinely creams herself over alexis, though i doubt she ever met her. alexis was before her time -- lillian ariived in her last year and by that point alexis was out of the SdeB scene.
