So the nurse just came and hooked it all up for me. She left an IV hangin' outta my arm for use tomorrow ... Steroids, as I've seen mentioned in many a message-board and heard from many a friend, leave a horrible, metallic taste in your mouth. I shoulda listened to rebelreject and gotten something to cover this taste up! Ughh!

I found that eating an apple helped with the taste. Kinda funky, but the citric acid helped me forget about the metal.

For me, everything also looked kind of green afterwards. I dunno if I was just crazy, though. Do you have that side-effect as well, by any chance?

No, a I just feel tired now - kinda all the time. So I don't know what's up???

Hmm. I remember I got heartburn for the first time ever when I had my first IV, but I wasn't really tired. Dunno what to tell you there.
