Things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. My food supply is running dangerously low, ditto on water. Someone must have raided this part of town very thoroughly. The weather is very bad as well, and without a vehicle or snowplows, that makes my travel by foot very difficult. Perhaps I could use the sewers ( Read more... )

The sewers are usually full of the crab-monsters.

It seems like these missing days are happening more and more often...

I'll have to scratch that off my list of bright ideas, then. Thanks.

Missing days?

Better than finding out the hard way.

Yeah. This isn't the first time days have gone missing, or that people have disappeared and lost their memories.

So this is a regularly occurring event?

Stay away from going underground, Redfield. It's like a zoo down there.

I got some snowshoes, as well as pocket warmers. Just bundle up. This is pretty typical weather this time of year.

It figures they'd have the easy way out covered, huh? Duly noted.

I've got a warm coat, hat, and boots. So I shouldn't be too bad off.

I heard you were kicking around here, Chris. You're doing okay?

Leon knows where Pete's is, so we'll head there.

Claire!

I've been worried sick about you, Sis. Are you okay?

Good, I'll meet you guys there. Are you with him now?

I'm fine. Freezing my butt off, but fine.

Yeah, I'm with him now. Figured it'd be smarter to stick with him than run off by myself looking for you. That usually gets me into trouble.

I've got a really warm jacket I found. I'll give it to you when I see you. But hey, at least it's warmer here than it was in Antarctica, right? We'll be okay.

That's good. Leon's a capable guy, and I know you can handle yourself. But that doesn't stop me from worrying. If you guys get into anything you can't handle, don't hesitate to call me.

Our stoves are electric, so it's not too cold down in the bar. The apartments are another story, though, but you're welcome to stop in.

Anything is better than sleeping in this freezing old hardware store. There's a heater here, but it runs off a generator, and that needs fuel that I don't have.

It'll be a regular sleepover. We can share zombie stories.

I've had enough zombie stories to last me the rest of my life, Billy.

Don't rush yourself. If you show up with frostbite I won't be happy.

I'll do my best to get there in one piece. No promises, though. You know how I am.

Which is where the threatening to be unhappy with you comes in. I'll also start amputating before checking how bad the damage is.

Amputating?!?

Geez, okay, you made your point. I'll get there totally safe and sound. Just put the scalpel away.
