Kicked over the First Domino...

On June 11th, I posted this to my Facebook account.

"Just kicked over the first very large domino of what should be a lenghty, possibly messy chain. I don't know exactly where the last one may tip over, but I do have a hope of it's general DIRECTION. Hope I'm not UNDER it. WHUFF."

Oh man.... at least with prop 13, our real estate tax is "only" $8000+, even though our house value probably quadruple by now (it's really crazily insane now). Lots of good that does since our income is flat actually worse :-( Health insurance is now $1700/mth, and then the house/flood/earthquake/car insurance totals $7000+ per year. Utility is $6000/yr. Those are the fixed expense before we eat anything!!!

Good luck with your plan. It sucks.

The plan ain't what sucks, it's the circumstances...

The plan actually is about as good as it gets. *laughing*

There were enough identifiers that I figured out is was one of you guys.
Note that the HI cost cited was just Me and Heather on Healthy NY. Nicholas in on the SUNY College (required!) plan, and Alex is ... at the moment .. uninsured since he aged out of CHP. If I put him on our plan... at least $1500... and most of his stuff is not only not covered, but sepcifically excluded Dang. So, we'll see what a change of venue may offer.

And yes, thank you LJ for subtle interface changes...
