[Freezes up for a brief second seeing that trademark haori...]
[No one he recognizes though... and they're not trying to kill him yet, so they must not recognize him... He really didn't want a repeat of what happened with Okita a month ago...]
[Gives a wonderfully dopey rurouni grin to hide what's going through his head.]
Saa, this unworthy one is only trying to figure out where he is and how he got here. Mou... that seems to be all he does lately...
Aa... he has been in a place called "the City" for nearly a year and a half now... It's also a place that... seems to pull people into it with no explanation for "how"...
[Looks up, about to give that same awkward greeting and smile he's been giving his counter parts when two things pop out at him. The boy has no scar, and he has blue eyes.]
[Blue eyes.]
[He gapes for a few seconds. He didn't remember that curse well at all... but she had told him what he'd said when it was over...]
['You said he had my eyes.']
[He blinks a little more before straightening where he sat, his sword topping off of his shoulder to his side and clattering on the ground.]
[Slowly stands, picking up his fallen sword and staring at the boy--he had to be at least 15, maybe older...]
[His head jerked slightly and his hand went to his temple. The actual sight of him seemed to made some of the memories of that curse come back... nothing solid, but the actual image of his son seemed to come to the back of his mind even if nothing else did...]
[He let his hand down, still staring.]
You were... two at that time...
[And then, suddenly, other gears started to work in his head. His adult son was standing in front of him. There was a chance it was an elaborate curse by the deities, but it seemed less so now. And if he really did have an adult son...]
[... then whatever Yukishirou Enishi had planned was going to fail.]
[He could have started dancing just then when that little revelation hit him and relief just flooded off of his person.]
