Man, I like to play my music loud and such, but only when I'm the only one in the entire house. I hate it when those neighboring one's space can't keep track of noise.

I listen to music myself, but I snagged some headphones so I can listen to myself, and because it drowns out his guitar better. I recognize he can't do the same with his guitar, so I haven't made an issue of it yet (despite how much I detest his awful, awful 'singing'), but that's only if he does it during the day or early evening. As far as I'm concerned, when eleven o'clock rolls around, that's quiet time. >_>

And thanks, I managed to finally nod off about two-ish, which is right around the time he finally stopped playing. He's at the house right now, and I'd rather not risk him hearing me call about him, so I'll wait until dinner when my dad comes to pick me up to go out and call then. >_>

Ask him to put up things on his wall to absorb the sound? Something thick works best. Egg cartons and the like also help. ^^ Also, is he playing electric or acoustic?

I'll try, but he ignored me knocking on his door last night (which I am still pissed off about, little asshole), so I don't know how receptive he'll be to the idea if I even manage to ask him about it.

...Ah. His girlfriend can't sing either. I'm listening to her butchering 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls now. I would have to get the room next to the American Idol rejects.

I hate him. Seriously. I hate having to listen to that damn guitar and his godawful singing, and he literally doesn't stop. It's like as soon as he walks in from class until he goes to bed with brief, intermittent pauses. Tonight was the worst though.

I'm gonna. I'll have him evicted, if I can. I had to put up with it all of last semester, and if he's decided he can play that damn guitar whenever the hell he wants now, no matter the hour, he's in for a real shock. >_

Well if the landlady does nothing, you fight fire with fire. Grab yourself some speakers, plug them into a stereo, and put them directly on the fall, facing the fall of course. He'll soon get the hint.

I have to ask, even though I'm pretty sure you'd already have done this. But have you tried talking to him when he's not attached to the guitar? Which I think would mean intercepting him on the way to said instrument of evil. If you have, and he doesn't care, you could attempt to poison him. Just put some poison into the water supply for the house. Make sure you give everyone else the antidote first though. That last step is very very important.
