I think you should photograph two maple leaves sitting, and seeming like they are having coffee over a mushroom. One should be leaning over the mushroom table a little, lifting the lid off of the acorn kettle. The other should be holding one of those tiny acorn lids (a cup) in one hand, and gesturing with the other, the hands being each side of the leaf's spread of course.

Another idea, look for an industrial park at night. The lights over them are typically an eerie orange, and when engulfed in trees (as they usually are in missouri) it is pretty neat.

That's the best I can do. Oh wait! Pull and peel twizzlers open you up to a variety of creative doings. Trust me.
