I can't say that I can agree with St. Theresa on a general version of God because there is nothing general about Him. How can someone generalize the great and almighty power of creation and the Father of all that is, has been, and shall be? I don't ask this, but mearly leave a question for people to meditate on.

As for your question If you had a choice between what man can accomplish or what The Maker of all life is able to do for us, would there even be a battle? well... if I had this choice is the best way of saying it isn't it? Because I don't believe I do. Because God infuses all of creation (especially us) we cannot truly escape from the fullness of Love and Light. We may close ourselves to it, but it is still present none the less. <3

Rabbits, Ravens, Angels and Faerie teach me what I need to know is within myself for I am God and Goddess within me as within all things. This is my 'Word' and it always will be. <3
I meant to share love with you. It is up to you if you are able to accept it or if you must dissect it by language and dogma. I only wish you peace.
