Height: 5'4"
Hobbies: Reading, researching, traveling to new and/or favorite places, cooking from scratch, WoW
Sports: None, but I do like to keep fit on a regular basis
Pets: my Eyptian Mau, Goma (named after the missing cat in Kafka on the Shore by Murakami)
Likes: Philosophy, art, history, politics, films, being 'Green', ecologism, learning, books, rain, the world, eating healthy and being healthy, languages, getting absorbed in something..
Dislikes: Trends, self-interested/indifferent and/or annoying/loud/obnoxious people, people who swear by something without doing proper research- or deny the research, greed, pollution, meat, dairy, free market capitalism, and basically the destruction of the planet :P
Strong points: Confident, smart, altruistic, passionate, leads when need be, integrity
Weaker points: I think so much that I spend most of my time in head, aloof. It may seem like I'm a studious person, but I am only when I'm really interested in the subject; I procrastinate when I dislike what I'm doing. I can come off as elitist, and I tend to spend a lot of time alone, as I have difficulty making friends (I hold high standards).. I'm very private, too.. Most people tell me they have a hard time figuring me out..

~*~Favorites~*~
Color: red, green (but, sometimes it depends on what the color is for..)
Food: Mediterranean, but without fish; specifically, sundried tomato and porcini mushroom risotto. and tofu.
Animal: Cats, because they're mostly independent (except mine) and clever. Deer, because they are beautiful, graceful and majestic.
Season(summer, spring, fall, winter): I prefer the inbetweens- autumn and spring
Fruit: Avocado
Flavor: Hazelnuts
Smell: Coffee; roasting bell peppers; the rain

~*~Extra~*~

If you were stranded on a desert Island, what 5 things would you bring?
1. a notebook for my thoughts and artwork
2. a book on flora of the world
3. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami
4. perhaps a knife for protection, but let's hope I won't need it..
5. Flares

Describe yourself in one word: Reformer

Which element do you most identify with? (come on people... Don't just pick the element of your favorite scout... be honest!!) Probably Earth, it seems fitting for my INTJ personality.. I tend to be well grounded and realistic, however, too much realism can be a bit pessemistic and I like to believe I'm sometimes optimistic.. I don't want a Hobbesian view of the world, even if it seems so fitting at times.

Are you an energetic person or are you a lower energy level kind of person? I usually think I'm somewhere inbetween, but from frequent observations, it appears I have more stamina than most.. But I'm not hyper-active, I'm quite calm and poised.

Do you act more on impulse or do you tend to think things through? Definitely think things through, but that doesn't mean it always has the best of results.

Got any dreams or aspirations? Yes, to help this screwed planet through means of sustainable development, conservation, renewable energy and awareness (as well as other areas..). I want to help the unfortunate, animals, and the environment. And, to become a better person.

What would you say is your motto? "It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied."
― John Stuart Mill

In other words, it's better to be intelligent and depressed than ignorant and happy.
(excuse the derogatory use of 'pig', he was referring to ignorance)

"It's not enough to have a good mind; the most important thing is to use it well." -René Descartes

What motivates you to start your day? Life; my husband.
