I enjoyed the series but mind you even now, depth, character development stretched over all books, etc is not a requirement for me, just an entertaining story, so I am less critical fo the series. At least going into the movie I knew it'd be hard to mess up and (one plus over HP and LoR) I wouldn't have to hear "the movie was different from the book, they forgot " or "they should have gone into more detail about...", since the good thing about this recent movie is it takes longer to watch the movie then read the book ;) If anything I am sure they were looking for extra stuff to add converting the book to a movie, lol

haha, that's true! the books are all so short that you can read it in 2 hours or watch the 3 hour movie version ;)

i dunno, i just can't be fulfilled with a "series" that isn't really a series (of chronilogical events).

and its true, they probably had to make up details to get the movie to be somewhat intriguing. le sigh - when will hollywood learn?

ps - HI KEVIN! merry early christmas :)

Like I said, I'm biased, I loved the series. Basically a collection of stories with the only real connection being Narnia, but you are allowed to have you own opinion I guess ;) Reminded me of the way the Hithiker's guide series was. Characters kind of come and go between books.
