Try up kapiti way I know that there are alot of horse paddocks up there round dad's place in raumati south, and there re plenty of nursing homes up there too.

somewhere around there would be great. :)
I think Mum would prefer to be an hour or two from town, and she has a couple of friends in Kapiti.

Not quite sure how to find out about sites up there though.
I might make up a bunch of flyers and get someone to take them up there...

we'd love to be able to helpl, but our paddocks are unfenced and full of sharp hurty-horsey stuff. It will be some time before this is fixed.

Unfortunately the only place I could find with a horse reference on TradeMe's rentals was a whole house...
