I've been trying to justify San Francisco/Los Angeles or Osaka/Shanghai/Tokyo for 5-6 days in June, because it's only [Edit: $800], but can't quite manage it myself. 5 days?

Why do you need to justify it?

It's the kind of experience you'll remember for the rest of your life. What price on that?

I can't quite justify it in terms of alternate opportunities.

Ie when I save up twice that amount, I could go for a month! More!
Many times 5 days. :D

But, for someone else who can't get away from other responsibilities for more than a week, and may have friends to visit etc, perhaps this would be the right opportunity for them?
