There is a brief flash of light in the living room of the apartment that Sancho and Jinpei share, and it ejects a form, still cursing in Spanish as it stumbles backards and tumbles over a small table. The portal vanishes as the young man falls down, making a crash that would wake the dead

"Hey Sancho!" called Jinpei's voice from the hole in the floor that was slated to become the upper end of a staircase. "You home?"

Sancho looked up from his frantic attempts at trying to get the pinpoint to work for him.

He immediately bolted to the hole, his face filling it from Jinpei's point of view on the first floor.

"Jinpei!" he was looking a bit wild eyed, and his face with smeared with dirt, "Derek! He's in the building with all the vampires!" his accent was thick, "He put me back here and this...this...bastardo piece of shit won't work!"
