[And Rin is going about, minding her own business -- okay, well, and the abundance of food about. She's pretty much cherry-picking by now, going mostly for the sweets but also for a few rich and savory treats. Mostly, she doesn't know about what her next meal will be like in this foreign world.

So one fails to pay attention for a moment and very nearly bumps into someone else.]

[An apology mouthed as she turns around, only to recognize Nezumi. In which her awkwardly apologetic expression sours quite a bit.]

I challenged the lead actress and won the part this morning. She's good enough to be an understudy.

[He gives her a glance, then shrugs a bit to himself because... he's still getting used to this. The being more open (for him) process is still very much a process and, quite frankly, he rather doubts he's ever going to be overly friendly or sociable but... he does remember to try.
