Once upon a time, someone suggested to Theo that he use his gravity magic to fly. Ridiculous! Doing things like flying about on broomsticks is a stereotype, something to mock real spellcasters with, like they were the witches and wizards of old. Theo is a modern spellcaster, thank you, and he wouldn't be caught dead doing such a thing

[ hearing the crash on the roof outside her window, Ohana quickly runs through all the possibilities and only one of them (a way too early Santa Claus) is vaguely non-threatening and looks around her room for something to defend herself with

in a house with a demon dog king and an assassin idol, the best she can find is a broom... which she's preemptively sticking out the window now ]

[Theo is stuck on the roof. He lands with a thud and some shrapnel skitters off, and contiunes to stream past Ohana's window as he attempts to dislodge himself from the crater he caused.

There's some swear words to go with it. He's oblivious to the broom at the moment.] Ow, goddamnit...

[ and she half-lunges out of her window, sweeping her broom at the source of all that cursing ]

[The sudden yelling brings him back to earth. He peeks over the ledge only to have Ohana jump out of her window and shake a broom at his face.]

[ the voice sounds vaguely familiar and Ohana stops trying idk. clean theo's face. ]

[ she's squinting at him but oh she knows who she is. she's just prolonging the delicious sense of satisfaction ]

And how are you going to do that? Are you going to try flying again?

[ her look is just like REMEMBER HOW WELL THAT WENT LAST TIME? and she sighs too even more heavily because clearly this is a competition now ]

Just come inside and use our stairs. Experiments should happen in a laboratory. Or somewhere with nets.

[Slowly he inches his way towards the window. Slowly... slowly... well there's his feet, and he's trying to find a stable spot to stand on the window sill.]

Really? People are even less welcoming to having someone crash into their houses? You got lucky with my house, I only have a broom. I haven't been able to see everything yet but at one point I'm pretty sure I saw a bunch of swords.

[ she eyes him first, not sure if he means to climb into the house or use her window sill as a launching pad

she prods his back with the broom, intent on nudging him forward ]

[It's hard enough to get footing without a broom in the way. He's not very coordinated.]

If you're going to keep flying around and crash landing [ optimistic! ] I think you'd want to know what they're thinking. ...or at least if they have force fields set up.

[ sorry Theo, she's not about to make it easier for you as she grabs at a bit of his sleeve first to anchor him in place as she tries to climb back into the house.
