LOL I totally saw this post coming :P I read the article and I read your rant. I agree with your on most parts. I find Nacy cute, but on the show, it'll never work. Let's see how the writers make it work though, I kind of trust them after they developed Joella LOL

I don't mind the Nacy stories. Wich is one thing I feared poeple would get from my rant... if anyone actually reads it, lol. But I don't seem them working in canon either. I like Joella, the characters were compatible. I guess the worst thing they do is change Nick and Macy's personalities in order to make them work. Hopefully will just get an odd forced-esque couple.

Not sure if I believe it. "Sources say" "school boy crush" doesn't sound very legit. But then again, maybe I'm not the best one to tell. Nicole and I are the same age (20), so I have a tendency to assume she sees guys Nick's age the same way I do; not as "potential boyfriend" but more like "friend/kid." I could be completely off, and if I am and they are starting to date, then good for them....
But you're right, that might explain it. But then again, Miley dated Mitchell Musso and their characters never go together.... of course she did describe that as "puppy love."

Aw, get you being mad. I've felt this way quite a lot too.

But this time, I actually like Nick/Macy. Probably cause there's so much incompatibility that I be forced to figure out how could they ever work and whether love alone is enough to carry a relationship through.

But then again, I would have been happy with any ship that had happened. I am just glad that they are giving Macy the spotlight and a decent relationship.

Now to see how it all plays out.

And as always, we have ff to vent. :)

I don't mind it in fandom, not my ideal couple at all, but to each their own. I do wish the writers had put more thought into the characters before just giving the majority of the fans what they want.
I guess since I want to be a writer, it really bugs me that they would put so little thought, so little consideration, so littel care into their characters and their story line. *sigh* But Disney didn't hire me, so there's nothing I can do.

We'll always have ff. :P

I agree about the character development thing. The thing with Disney is that they create good character bases but they fail to develop on them. But on the other hand, I feel like expecting THEM to develop their characters is quite big thing.

It's Disney, they never do anything fully. sigh.

It shouldn't be that hard to develope a character. They own like half the tv networks, so they should learn to develope the characters on DC as well. They do it on other channels.
