that is so true, i forgot about that, you see when i wrote this one had just snapped in half...having to manouver the wires back in place when they are slipping like that really sucks too
I like underwires on my bras. I'd have them no other way... but yes, I hate when they break. But hmm.. my bras are so old, that i wouldn't expect anything else after so much of hard use.
Haha... depends where you go. If you talk about mass supermarket stuff, then yes... these clothes are ridiculously cheap, but they are also so cheap that you will end up paying more in clothes because they won't last even a few months.
If you want something decent, THAT is ridiculously expensive.

Oh Sandie! I know exactly what you mean! I have been mulling over this problem for some time..and I have been toying with a molded plastic design. I have had bras in the past with a piece of molded plastic instead of wire, and they were fantastic..not sure why they never took over the market...perhaps production costs...? The best thing about them was that the very shape of them prevented them slipping out of the stitching like wires do after some wear. I really love the comfort of a supportive underwire, and hate the "unibreast" feel of bras without wires...let's hope that designers get smart eventually!
