After five days of somewhat odd cold/flu symptoms, I finally saw my doctor. I'm usually a fan of "it'll go away on its own", but my annual physical was scheduled, and I wasn't quite foolish enough to cancel it because I was sick

Unfortunately we're still dealing with a household infestation so it'd be best if your kids weren't around our kids for a couple more days yet.

Good luck with the research. I'm guessing you'll have to dig into the primary medical sources.
